I'm telling you, forget going from the inside.

Use your thumbs as support on one of the grill bars and start one side at a time. Once you pop one side it's a piece of cake. You may want to try heating a bit with a hair dryer to, that should help loosen the plastic a bit.

I believe the heritage grill has screws for the landing pad. The stock grill has nothing but those push clips.

You're right - my bad. I was thinking of when I swapped out the stock bowtie on the Heritage Grille for the retro SS badge. Never mind - doesn't apply with stock grille. Sorry.

On my stock grill, I just grabbed the bowtie with a t-shirt to avoid cutting my hands, pulled while moving it around and it came right off. On the heritage grill landing pad it's a real pita to remove. Good thing I decided to leave it on.

Here is a pic of the SS emblem. Maybe this will help you out on taking it off. I can get a pic of the bow tie if you need as well.

i think the rear panel need some color if you are going to do the white emblems. u could either do the blackout panel or get a red one cut. i just think it needs some cole other wise it looks great.

you need to put a small screw driver on the side like below, push it all the way back slowly while pulling on the SS. This will help snap it out of the back clip, then repeat on other side. Again don't be scared to pull in the emblem. And again the back holder will likely fall into the facia, so you need a graber tool like I posted above.

The emblem itself is held in by two pieces that click together, keep that in mind and that may help.

To remove my bowtie I just used my hands, no tools were needed, and I didn't need to open the hood. I just loosened each clip a little and pulled the bowtie out.

Great thread but I have a question...what will the grill look like if I remove the SS front emblem off my 2014? Is it desgined in such a way (unlike the bow tie) that it then looks as if there was never a SS emblem on the grill?

And one more while I have your attention...I asume the following to be true. All of these embelems are glued on a 2014 SS with no holes after removal:

1) Side Camaro emblems
2) Rear SS
3) Rear Bow tie

Thanks for the help...
