thanks....I used etching primer 2 coats. then 2 or 3 coats of satin i forget which. washed it alot and still looks good. i ould go with this way instead of a sticker. JMO.

I though about Carbon Fiber. But decided not to. I want it to match the Black Grill while keeping the Chrome tint. Don't get me wrong the carbon fiber looks nice with the Chrome tint. But I'd rather go with flat black.

Yeah. I could always change too. I ended up ordering that sheet off Amazon. $15 bucks for a 12" by 24" should be enough and give me extra in case I mess up (again).

You might be able to use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm it up and work it with your finger to smooth it out, but don't get it too hot.

Just take your time and stretch it out over the entire surface, then come back and cut out the excess, that sheet of vinyl will give you enough to do many bowties.

looks like you got some wax still left over (Left of the Bowtie)... I have that same problem, that stuff is darn hard to get off..
