Redline Performance in Festus, MO has a reputation for tuning LSX motors.

As far as tuning I have recently heard of a gentelman named O'mar at Lynch Hummers who tunes motors. He has tuned some for the gateway cobra club as well as Jim Lynchs race cars. From what I have heard he started on lsx blocks and loves them. I talked to him and he seemed knowledgeable and very friendly. I will be bringing my car to him when the time comes.

I was looking through the yellow pages and ran across P2 Motorsports, www.p2motorsports.com, their ad says they specialize in LS engines. Anyone have any experience with them? The are in St. Peters, so I'll probably check them out since the are 10 minutes from me.

I Have talked to a few new LS guys and they all say not to go to O'mar!!!! just wanted to tell you guys that. Apparently he can tune a carb motor but not an EFI. I heard reports of blown motors. Sorry guys, also I have heard of bad reports from Adrenaline also. I have not stopped looking and I will continue to post if I find someone that I trust and use.

Sorry guys

I've been asking a few more people and here's a couple more places they have mentioned. These guy I talked to are in the local Chevelle club, so they were more interested in tuning carb motors.

So you'll want to call and talk to these places if you are interested and see what their experience is with FI motors.

I'm going down tomorrow (9/1) to have my SS tuned. The tuner is the same guy that the dealer recommended to have the tune done through. The dealer trusts them enough to send their modified Z06 and Zr1's along with other high-end clients to them.

I will post up my experience tomorrow when I return.

OK folks, if you want someone that has over 11 years experience tuning LS engines I have the guy for you.

I just had my car tuned today by him and it is absolutely BAD ASS now! Can you believe my ECM (computer) thought it was a V-6 Monti carlo when we started .... talk about screwed up!

Anyway, my camaro even got ... I know you aren't going to believe it .... a third gear scratch on the factory shift points!

This tuner takes his time (took him over 5 hours) and even hooks up a exhaust meeter to measure and fine tune the air/fuel ratio's.

His name is Tim Rottler and he is the tuner for Red Line in Festus.

They are NOT out of bussiness, just waiting to move into their new shop in Crystal City. You can contact Tim at 314-221-1291, you will have to leave a message but he will get back to you.

RedLine is in between shops at the moment. They are opening up their new shop within a month technically in Crystal City. If you know where the Cub Cadet dealer is by the train trestle on 61/67, they will be in that same set of buildings.

I will be going back to get the dyno when they get moved in. My car should be very close to 500HP (fly wheel) and 410 - 420 HP (rear wheel), but only a dyno will tell for sure.

If you need a tune before they get moved in, then just give Tim a call from the number above.
