Camaro Z/28 Wins at Indianapolis Motor Speedway!!!
The Stevenson #6 Camaro Z/28 won yesterday at the newly designed road coarse at Indianapolis Motor Speedway! At one point, Camaro's were 1-2-3, but a mishap with an aggressive BMW took out 2 of them.
Here's a link to the win details: http://www.imsa.com/articles/no-6-ch...che=1402775506 The event was fabulous! MrsLT1PWRD did a great job of coordinating the Camaro Corral activities. Thanks Sherry! I had a great time and plan to be there every year. |

Another Chevrolet (Jeff Gordon) won today at the Brickyard 400. Pretty good weekend for Chevy Racing at Indy.
I really like the IMSA Continental Sports Car Challenge series because it's one of the few forms of racing today that uses cars similar to production cars. I can actually relate to these cars unlike the "stock" cars in NASCAR, for example. The only thing Camaro on that Nationwide car are the decals that make the car look Camaro-ish.

The 2 levers/cables are for the front tire changer to change the sway bar setting from the wheel well. The same setup is in the trunk for the rear sway while re-fueling. The big canister is for the pressurized water system they are required to run.

I can see how they can lock the lever in several positions, but what is on the other end? That is, what is actually changing the roll rate of the ARB? |

Not sure what the actuator is on the other end of the cable that actually moves the sway or end-link. Couldn't see that far. Mike Johnson, the team manager at Stephenson, gave us the tour. You might try contacting him. Some of the drivers post here sometimes as well. Maybe one of them will see this and answer, if they know, lol.
