Should i be getting the $4800 tire package from dealership?
Ok, so i'm a little confused on this whole thing, i'm going to be buying a new camaro in a couple months, and i've been struggling trying to find the rims i'd want.
I know specifically i want blacked out rims, but i want rims that you can see the brake capsule. My questions to you fine people are, Is the package actually worth it? I'm so baffled when it comes to prices, becuase i see several people around the internet selling what looks like real nice black rims for anywhere from $150-$400 each, and even if there $400 each thats $1200, how come these ones are $4800? As far as tires go, am i ok with the stock ones, or do i need to buy new ones? would the $4800 package include diffrent tires, or just $1200 per rim? I'm confused on why it's so much, and if it's worth it to buy them or someone else. thank you very much! |

21s are not worth it IMO. Get standard and save the funds for something nicer and more custom.

^^ Completely agree. Plus once you see prices/availability for 21 inch tires, you will regret it. 20 and 22 are cheaper and easier to find.

I would stay far far away from the dealer's $4800 wheel/tire package...

If you're looking for a truly custom set around that price I can work with you on a great deal. Let me know if you're interested and we can start working on some numbers and finishes. The offer also goes out to anyone else on the forum. Gio Last edited by COR Forged; 10-25-2010 at 12:44 PM. |

NEVER buy upgraded wheels from a dealership. They mark-up the pricing a lot, and they also keep your factory wheels/tires. You get double-screwed, essentially. $4800 is a good budget for a set of high quality forged 20s with new tires.
