Just installed New Era Performance OTR

Just installed the New Era Performance OTR today, and love how it looks and how it sounds. Only a few problems with the install, gotta cut a little off the upper radiator hose, just dont like how it bends. Another thing, I was wondering if I should re-do it in matte black and remove the New Era sticker. What should I do?

I like the silver. You could of bought it in black. Any surging issues with this intake?

Bought the intake used for a great deal. I want to clean up the engine bay (very dirty right now), move the battery terminal, heater hoses, trim up radiator hose, etc... I was thinking that removing the New Era logo, and painting in black would make it look more factory.

Mine too! Remember the crap we went through back then? Supposedly Mike redesigned so that's not much of an issue any more!

I did have a weak one, initially, but changed it to a "strong" one, hoping that was the issue--didn't make one bit of difference. (Nice try.)

Black FTW!
Yep, LOL. Steve and Kirk from Vector Motorsports were able to tame it a bit, after about half a dozen tuning tweaks, but once I got my cam and got retuned, the issues started all over again. By then, I'd had enough and switched to CAI--problem solved... But yeah, I heard about the so-called changes they made, but could not tell a difference with the pics I saw.
