Tune it out, so worth it. I haven't had any issues with my car at all and I've had it tuned for over a year.

Depends on what you want to do. If you can manage a decent trade then do it!!! If not, tune the dayam AFM out.

Go for the LS3! I test drove both the L99 and LS3 before I ordered my car, and even though there is only a 26hp difference, they are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT cars. The LS3 really felt like a wild beast, while the L99 felt like a heavier version of my automatic 2LT I had at the time.
I went with the LS3, and I am loving every minute of it!

Definitely tune it, I had mine tuned with less than 200 miles on it.

Why not trade for a 2010 LS3? You can do a HUD install yourself and no one else will know the difference.

I must be deaf because I can't hear the AFM on my 2SS. I guess if you do something with the exhaust it might be different, but in stock form I can't tell at all. If I were in your shoes I'd tune it out and pray for the best. My car is getting zero mods until the warranty is up. After that, we'll see. This car is the fastest vehicle I've ever owned, and it can scare me pretty good if I want it to.

Get what you want but, i have to say i have the L99 and funny thing is i LIKE the AFM when it kicks on. It actually makes the car rumble like it should instead of ridiculously quiet.
