Being a cop in Detroit, I see this shit every day...Kid was wearing a $900 jacket, according to my partner who is up on the fashions of the street. He was buying crap at a party store with a "Bridge Card" (MI equivalent to welfare).
Pulled a woman over a few weeks ago for speeding..46/25 school zone. Pulls out her registration..her Bridge (welfare) card stuck to back..Both in her name..What was she driving? A 2006 Land Rover. WTF!

I agreed 100%. Also all welfare recipients should mandatory do community service like cleaning parks, fixing broken down homes, taking care of the elderly.

Got this e-Mail about a year ago. Or one just like it in a different format. I agree. I would bet that the cost of the urine tests would easily be paid with the savings.

i agree the only way you should be able to collect welfare is if you stay at home and sit on the computer looking at the new camaro
