hey guys/gals. looks like ill have some free time on the 15th and 16th. was wondering if anyone wants to come down to my town for some good eats and maybe a cruise up to knights ferry or somthing of that nature. the last meet here in modesto was plagued by bad weather. im sure this time it will be great. lets see some takers....be nice if i dont have to travel for once lol

What time of day are we looking at? The 16th is a Friday, so would it be after work on Friday? An evening run?

well im open either the 15th or 16th. im thinking along the lines of this

meet up in modesto late morning around 10-11am. once everyone has arrived we take a drive up to knights ferry which is about 20-30 mins away from modesto. its pretty scenic route halfway there. once there, we park and have lunch maybe even bbq if the park allows it(ill have to look into this). there is an ole 50's diner there and a small historic town to walk around in. also the park is pretty cool to walk around in as well and a river for swimming and cliff jumping for the crazy ones like me lol. great photo shots ect ect. pretty much just spend the whole day there.

anyhow thats my idea. im always open to changes or suggestions to try and accomodate everyone. so if anyone has anymore ideas lets see them and we can come together for a good solution

That sounds like a pretty good plan for a day. I'm voting friday for selfish reasons, but any idea on if there would be traffic from modesto coming back after? Gina wants me home to spend friday night with her.

well jay depending on what time you leave it can add up to an hour to your travel time if you hit commuter traffic. if you leave round 5ish you may not get home till after six or maybe even seven:(
