Sun spots on spoiler?

Has anybody seen this before? It's only , but all over my rear spoiler! Is this a paint defect or something other?

While those "could" be water spots, I don't believe they are. It looks like some type of defect in the paint (again just looking at a picture), almost like their was some chemical interference between the base (color) paint and clear coat (clear paint). How old is your car? This could be a warranty issue.

Thanks for the quick reply! I also initially thought they were water spots also, but after further review, they appear to be well under the clear coat.

The car was first purchased in Nov 2010, then resold as a certified pre-owned vehicle in Feb of this year. I haven't been able to locate anybody posting anything similar to this on the internet.

Attempt warranty work? Your paint is warrantied for 2 years bumper-to-bumper with certified pre-owned I believe.

I agree with Todd up above.

Went to the dealership yesterday after work and the body shop guys have never seen anything like this before! They have agreed to replace my rear spoiler under a warranty claim.
