Heh, the NOLA Motorsports Park is under construction right now. I wonder if they'll have a completed facility by April-ish of 2012. I know their site says grand opening in June of this year, but look at their live webcam and you'll see they've got quite a bit of work ahead of them.

The layout looks friggin sweet though

Edit: I just noticed, there's no 1320 strip :(

Must have drag strip... Must have autox. should have road course....

must have plenty of parking, pits etc.

And in my humble opinion, should be in the northern US next year....

The article I read said it did have a 1/4 mile strip, it may be those two parallel straights and is integrated into the course but I don't know. If there isn't one then I agree, mark it off the list.
