Having to do fuse pull often
Again yesterday my SS felt sluggish so last night I did the 5 20 fuse pull that I have done probably 10 times over 4+ years. I always buy the highest octane fuel I can find and never put in less than 92 octane. Is it possible that I'm getting lower octane fuel even though I'm paying for the good stuff?
Put the fuses back in and the car is peppy as normal. Any of you guys have to do the fuse pull often, or just a one time thing? Russ |

Do you even lift, bro?

hmm...sure it's not a placebo-like "peppy" just bc you redid the fuse? Have you put some injector cleaner through it in a while? I'm sure a full tune up/flush would do incredible things for it since you've had it so long.

I can't help but think I'm not always getting high octane fuel from a dishonest gas station owner. As many times as I put gas in it this would be the best opportunity to get bad fuel. I'm good for now, I hope I don't have to do it again any time soon! I know a guy that retired from Standard Oil (now BP) and he told me there was hardly no difference of fuel between 86 & 93 octane, and at times it was the exact same fuel. He has been retired for 20+ years so I hope we have better monitoring today and we are getting what we are paying for every time. Russ |
