Headlight Condensation (Burnt Bulb).

Well somehow my driver side headlight is getting condensated which caused my bulb to go out, and I got an early car so replacing it is out of the question (they don't have them). Also I need to find a bulb too...any ideas/suggestions?

you have an rs...did you bring it back to the dealer? Get them to get you the bulb number and make them pay for the bulb while you wait for a new HID headlight.
My car on the trip to Oshawa had built up condensation in both turn signals up front, unfortunately thats all part of the housing, so i have to wait for it to do it again so that i can take a pic and bring it back to the dealer.

I would be willing to bet that is your "somehow"

I saw that GMpartsdirect has the headlights for sale.

They just replaced them with better housing but the newer ones will work for your car. Take it back to your dealer and get them to replace it under warranty.

You can't just get the bulb. It is a sealed housing which means replacing everything.

Is it your right headlight that is burned out? If so it was probably the second accident that cracked the seal somwhere

Wow sorry I missed up it's the DRIVERS SIDE that has the condensation, so it couldn't have been effected by the accident.

ohhh, yeah then its just a defect like both my headlights
So im confused, you dont want to replace the housing because of your low vin number? Or is it because they dont have replacement parts yet?
I dont think the headlights do anything with numbers matching parts but i could be wrong

You can replace the bulb, but if it has condensation you have to replace the lamp.

I couldn't replace it before because the passenger side headlight on the early VIN's was different but now they fixed it. I don't want to replace it because it's expensive lol. I cleaned it out today and sealed it from the top, let's see what happens.
