Camaro makes a heavy metalic popping sound

Everytime I drive over a bump I hear and feel a loud poping sound that sounds like two big blocks of metal hitting eachother.

Also when i drive on rough roads

Any tips?

Check everything on the suspension including front and rear sway bars. If you did any suspension work you want to make sure everything is tight. I had the same thing happen and found two connections that had loosened up because of the roads I drive on.

This is not good or normal. With or without suspension modifications get the car on a lift and have the suspension, drive-line and exhaust checked thoroughly. This check would be covered by GM warranty if you are mod free as I doubt anyone has exceeded the terms for mileage.
