Stupid bluetooth

I had my phone paired with my car and it worked fine. Got a new phone, and the phone paired up fine, but I can't seem to get the car working properly to connect while making a call....

Tried deleted the device and reconnecting... no luck.

Go into your phones wireless settings and try "connecting" there. Just because it's paired doesn't mean it's connected. I run several BT devices in mine and I sometimes need to reconnect a device

Try updating or changing your phone's bluetooth drivers. Worked with my phone (Android)

I'd try this.

Sounds like the problem is with your phone instead of the car.

Or you could have did something dumb like me and turn of bluetooth itself. I think my cell phone resets to a default setting of "Bluetooth off" if the phones' charge goes all the way down.

I was VERY frustrated when no one came up to say anything about bluetooth problems... did it work out for you?

the following worked for me..

delete your device, repair it. When it pairs it will ask you if you want to sync your phonebook. If you have previously said yes, that may have been your problem... Say no, and it will stay connected, but you lose your phonebook.

Jeff,
My wife just got a new phone(Smasung Galaxy Prevail) and hers also pairs but is does not always connect. When it does connect it does not stay connected. Her car is a 2011 1LT with the C&C package. She did not have problems with her previous phone. Any Ideas???

I know when the 2010 1st came out, the thing to do was check a list of supported phones on GM/Chevy website. Not all phones are supported, but you would think most are by now. I would have thought bluetooth is bluetooth no matter what kind of phone.

I've had a few pairing issues, but the problems were all traced back to the phone and not the car.
