So whats all this talk about 370z's being competition? I happen to roll up on one at a local track. As soon as I came up next to him I had downshifted to 2nd, and lugged off. I heard him whistling that turbo, winding that motor out, and shifting gears every few seconds as I smoothly passed him up till I was a few car lengths ahead. I easily spanked him every run. Definitly a confidence booster!

I hope you've realized what you just started.... Every one of those Camaro haters, Import lovers and anything but a Camaro lovers will be after your ass. That 370Z should have been faster than God and your SS is such a pig that it couldn't possibly beat anything....BTW street racing is not allowed here. However, in S. Texas, maybe this could be an exception?

My camaro maybe a pig, but it still eats 370z for breakfast! And BTW I didnt mean to go off on street racing, I was just a bit confused that I beat a 370z w/ a turbo. I shouldve lost!

yeah i would either revise your story ( say you lined up at a track) or mention that it was a private road. no street racing stories allowed.

I am a big import and euro fan, my LS3 is my first american car. I'll you one thing a 370z will not keep up maybe a turbo one might get a little closer but I don't even waste my time with them anymore. That road was private right.

Anyways, if your car is stock or bolt ons, a 370z turboed should of ate your lunch. Id say you beat the driver, not the car.
