Price is coming down. Remember the Pirelli tires on the SS and RS Camaros were insane when they released the car in '09. I was hoping these tires would drop too. Especially now that the 1LE uses the same tire. (At least the 285)

$300 is still too much for a tire that's so poorly rated.

I am having the Pilot Super Sports put on tommorow, 295 front and 315 rear, they are more expensive but with everyones reviews here I think they will work great, hopefully last longer and I don't have to check the temperature to see if I can drive.

You'll love 'em. I had mine installed a while ago and I have zero complaints about them.

post up some more pictures of the car with these tires. ide like to see some 3/4 front and rear shots to see how well they sit on the car. the originals look a bit stretched to me.

To be honest here, I had my car at the track this past weekend doing autocross and I'd say that the Goodyear's had better traction than the Michelin's did. Not once did I lose traction in the Goodyears in a turn with a full tank of gas (first time out, didn't know how much gas I needed). In the Michelin's I had about 1/4 tank of gas.

Gas weighs just over 6 lbs, on a 16 gal tank that means I had 100lbs at the rear of the car when I went my first time on the Goodyears. This time on the Michelins I had about 4 gals in the tank for 24lbs meaning my car was about 76lbs lighter this last time. And this last time on the same track course setup I almost spun the car in the Michlins where I didn't come close in the Goodyears.

Let me review real quick

OEM Goodyears:
Pros: Look Good, Excellent Summer Traction
Cons: Poor Winter Traction, Possibility of Cracking in cold weather, LOUD (used to set radio to 20)

Michlin PSS:
Pros: Look Good, Possibly better wear (tbd), No Possibility of Cracking in cold weather, much quieter (can set radio at 10-15)
Cons: Don't have OEM sizes, Slightly less traction than the Goodyears
Other: Unknown winter Traction

Less traction with the Michelins? That's something I don't hear too often.

Had my Invo's put on today, 295 front and 315 rear. So far I like them much more than the GY's. The ride seems a little softer, less road noise and more grip for now. I can go WOT from a 50 roll without the tires breaking loose now, with the GY's they would just spin.

only thing i dont like is they are gonna look fat and that makes the rim look smaller so look at some first before you purchase nothing worse than paying all that money and den not liking how they look after

Yeah me either but that is what I experienced. I will prob get another set of rims and put Goodyears on them for track use and use the Michelins for Daily Driving because they are still an excellent tire.
