2014 owners with halo DRL
Is the halo supposed to go out when you turn your blinker on? Just wondering because mine does and people keep calling my wife an telling her one of her halo's is out.

Thanks I figured that might the case because of how bright they are they go out so you can actually see the blinker

If you have your fogs on, the halo gets brighter and then does not turn out when you turn on your blinker, it just dims.

I saw this on a 14 the other day and wondered the same thing at first, but then I figured that's why it did that. Weird looking at the time haha

Huh. I too saw one do that and thought the halo was out. As he caught up to me, I noticed it was back on. This explains it. I have seen this behavior on Audis, so I guess they're just doing the same thing.

day running lamps ... I think it may be to draw more attention to the amber turn indicator.
but I think that the halo turning off darws attention !! it seems to make people eager to tell you that you light is out!

it does. does it for pretty much any brand. mustangs do it, audi's led strips do it, etc
