Flowmaster on a Vert 2SS?

Anyone attempt to install a Flowmaster axle back on a Vert?

Buddysilva – We are working on exhaust kits that fit within the tight confines of the convertible bracing. So far we have come out with the Outlaw Axle-Back system (PN:817504) with an aggressive tone.

We’ll make more announcements in the future when other systems for the convertible are available.

Here’s a video we found on Camaro5 of a member with a custom Outlaw Cat-Back system on his car. We’re still working on a video with good sound of the Outlaw Axle-Back.

Here’s the thread:

Thanks was really hoping for the Axle-back System 409S - Dual Rear Exit - AMT Pro Series - Moderate Sound. Think the Outlaw on a Vert may be to loud.

Buddysilva – We understand about your concerns with the cool Outlaw mufflers. They sound good, but some people want a less aggressive tone. That’s why we’re working on a few more kits.

camaroMonster- trust me... it ain't gonna work with the cat-back:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131860

I tried... painfully tried...

Soundwise, Flowmaster is unbeatable, but for the verts, the 40's won't fit with the 3" piping and the square canisters....

On a convertible????

What modifications did you have to make to the cross bracings and pipe bends? Currently Sux2bu is the only one I've heard/seen with a 3" which he had to modify. They do sell a spacer set (S.W. I believe) ti allow the extra clearance in the back for their system, but id question the regidity of the bracing with a 1" spacer....

Next question- did you do a cat-back or axle back.... 2 completely different animals... and if you did axle back, do you have the square/rectangular mufflers (American Thunder) or the round mufflers (Hush Power)? Once again, 2 different beasts....

What about the rest?

Axle-cat back?

Square mufflers (AT) or round (HP)?

...huge differences... if your going to refute what I posted photographic evidence of, please give the full details, otherwise I'm raising the B.S. flag! Not just a pi$$ing match between you and I, but others are using this info to make purchasing decisions... please share what info you have

Flowmaster On '11 'Vert

Atta Boy Drago! Give'm hell. Is the stock exhaust on the vert 2.5"? Is there that big of a performance gain with a cat back system as opposed to an axel back.I would like my vert just a little more aggressive than stock. But some of those stainless sytems out there to me are way too expensive. And of course when Borla and Magnaflow come out with Vert systems they will cost more.
