Do you have the BA system in your car? If so you can use the Orion to power them which will make them sound a tad better then what they do now. At some some point I'm sure you will want more and well the BA speakers wont do it. Best thing to do is replace the door and rear deck speakers with something alot better and unhook the center channel speaker in the dash.

You can do both. Depending on which system you have, BA or nonBA, the process will vary. You can just add the subs if thats all you want for the time being.

If you have the BA system its a lot easier to amp the speakers. Im sure it can be done with the nonBA, but a lot more wires would need to be run.

Yeah i have the BA system and was wondering what i could do with the speakers. if amp'd if they will be enough to not be drowned out by the 2 subs.

If your just gonna use the Orion as a dedicated sub amp, and continue with the factory Boston amp, and speakers then use the fader on your radio to even out the sound.

You will only have to amplify the stock speakers if you remove the Boston amp.

It would probably be best to start with just the subs. Then if you need to, it isnt hard to swap out the BA amp for a different one.

I started with just subs, then after a year amped the speakers, now I am thinking I should swap the speakers.
