fuel pressure sensor location

Trying to install my gauges I'm doing a ecs 1500 and still having the stock rails. Where do I connect it at the fuel rail or is there another place?

The end of the fuel rail is the threaded end if that's the place to mount where can I get the female adapter for it?

Not sure if you can use that because of the schrader valve. You could put a fitting between fuel rail and fuel line.

What gauge? Should be able to take the valve out of the end of the rail and screw the sensor in.

Sorry I was thinking of the rail on my maggie. One on the stock rail doesn't come out.

Are you using and aftermarket fuel setup like Squash or Fore? If not, you'll have to tap into the fuel rail, but at that point you should look into aftermarket rails. Where are you looking to mount a gauge, on the rail or on the A-pillar?

I have the aem fuel pressure gauge. I am mounting it on the A-pillar. I will be getting the squash system planned on keeping the stock fuel rails. I was just trying to get it all ran and ready to go

If you go squash you can hook sensor to fuel pressure regulator.

Yes it does, I took mine out of my stock rail with a normal valve core tool. It where the nx plate kit gets its fuel supply for the solenoid

Here's a pic that shows a sensor mounted at the end of the stock fuel rail. Once you have that setup, it's just a matter wiring it to the gauge in the car.

Interesting. I never tried to take it off, but there you go. That should make things a little easier. At least you don't have to worry about the fpr being buddy with gauge on the front of it. It will be easier to mount.

Pressure sensor should be as close as possible...to the injector furthest away from the fuel pump.
