Exhaust suggestions??

Hey all.
My 17th birthday is right around the corner- and on a side note, so is 4th gen local Bulldogwinters, my purple camaro twin- and I guess my parents are okay with getting me an exhaust upgrade, since I don't really want anything for my birthday.
But, I'm still a little iffy on the subject.
A) I don't really need one. I've always said subtly is better when it comes to cars (silent but deadly).
B) I've only been toying with the idea. I haven't really taken it seriously at this point.

Having said that, I've got a fairly good idea of what I'm looking for. I want something with a lopey V8 sound. Nothing that gets too high-pitched in the upper RPM range, but I guess it doesn't really matter in an A4, where it shifts at 3,000-3,500 RPM anyways.
I guess I'm really looking for some input at this point. So, any thoughts and opinions are welcomed with open arms.

I had Flowmasters, (80 Series i THINK) on my 3.8, and it sounds real good through about 2500rpms. It had a pretty deep note until you breach that 2500 mark. Lemme see if I can find some video...

Here we go. This sounds pretty similar to my old 3.8. If you take it easy on the gas, it'll lope along pretty nice

You need true duals for those mang. If you wanna tear the pipes out and run duals, I say go for it! X-pipe would be the way to go!

This is mine when it was new... It sounds better now that it is broken it, and it doesn't pop as much.

Revo, you're asking me- a 17 year old kid with a CAMARO- to take it easy on the gas??
Sir, I laugh at this.

I'm definitely going to have to do a lot of looking (I'm a perfectionist), but I did like the sound in the lower RPM range with these.

You do have a point! I don't know if I ever told you the story of my Camaro when I was 18? Let's just say it involved me, the car, the curb, and one 360 degree spinout...

Oh hey, it is almost our birthdays isn't it!! lol I'm gettin tires

as for the A4 shift point.. I can usually get mine to shift around 2,400 RPM if I'm driving conservatively ( dislike low MPGs) I've gotten into 4th gear at like 30 MPH before I'm not much of a crazy driver.. although in the rain yesterday I had some fun

That sounds like a story of the highest epicness.

I plan on gutting the 'Birds system from the stock cats back if I get enough cash come March. After that High flows and shorties to keep it lean and maintain ground clearance.

V6 cars are almost identical in pipe layout from the cats back, so if you want to do true duals it's not that hard.

Probably gonna/should stay 2.5 too.. :/
