Overheat?
Today on the way to work I had a message pop up on my DIC. It said " AC off due to high engine temps" . Sure enough, I look at the temp gauge and its pegged. I drive another 2 blocks and the needs moves waaaay back to normal temp and it didn't do it again. I ran the codes and I have nothing besides 02 codes (no cats or tune yet). Can this just be a fluke? Im going to go check my fluid levels when I go on lunch and the car is cooled off. Anything else I should look at?
Thanks Adam

How long had you been driving? Sounds like the thermostat was stuck closed, and then opened, lowering the coolant temps. Might be time for a new t-stat.
