ported TB and intake gains?

Who has a cammed setup and then added a ported TB and intake later on? What kind of gains did you see? Also what would pricing be for these 2 mods? Thanks

Depends on the intake. If you go with something like a CAI Inc intake, a ported TB, and get your tuned adjusted you will likely see something in the 30 RWHP range. As a vendor we are not allowed to post pricing info in technical forums but if you shoot me a PM or give us a call we can set you up with a package deal.

My car is cammed and I had my TB and Intake Ported. Very noticeable difference after the tune is adjust. It felt like a whole new car. I am hitting the dyno on the 7th, was supposed to hit it this month but their computer cable died. I can tell you it is worth it just based off my butt dyno!

I had mine done all at the same time so Im no help. But I went with a small cam, heads, UDP, ported intake, ported tb. Made 100 rwhp over tune, headers, intake, and x pipe.

I think I paid close to $300 for ported intake and and ported, polished TB.

I was looking and found a few places that will do both for 275$! Looking to pickup a little more trap speed after I get tires.

I got mine done at the same time from a friend in the local corvette clube here. He does great work. Paid $400.00 I think for both and the re-tune.

Here are the results we had w/ our in house ported intake/tb combo on a cammed auto ss. testing conditions were as follows.

1)dyno car for baseline
2)swap intake/tb
3)re dyno w/ absolutely zero tune changes

The results speak for themselves and this was done on another shop's dyno to rule out any potential claims of messing w/ the dyno.

We charge $350 for an intake and $125 for a TB that includes return shipping back to you. we do offer a core exchange program as well.
if you do both intake/tb together it's $425.00
