No reviews yet for the Pypes SGF52 cat back? on http://www.jegs.com/i/PYPES/958/SGF52/10002/-1 the set is only 461.99, is this a good set-up for my LT Camaro, I mean is it a quality system?

Only videos I've found are with the pypes system with JBA headers installed, or with the BBK Long tube headers installed (which I have in the sticky thread) but neither will give you a fully accurate sound of what the cat-back would have been by itself.

The video of the one with JBA headers installed will be fairly close to the the sound but with a bit more growl. The one with the long tube headers installed is wayy different than it would be without.

As far as quality..I don't know.

I read somewhere that the install was hellish and should only be done by a quality shop. So I guess I'll goto Warrenton and ask my guys if they can install if I buy it. But they prolly have issues with having to buy merch from them

Scrming,
I put the MRT 2.0 on my Camaro, and the drone on acceleration is loud as hell in the cabin. Did you do anything other than the stock install when you posted your vids? Maybe a sealer at the joint where the new mufflers are?

I put Permatex muffler and tailpipe sealer at the joints and it seemed to help a bit. Just wondering if there is anything I can do to quite down the inside cabin noise?

Where do you have the clamps placed? Are they "overlapping" the old and the new pipe?

There some sound deadening material like dynamat you can buy... some have used some inexpensive material from like Lowes and have had good luck with it...

I had them placed at the edge of the new mufflers where they meet the old pipes originally, I moved them up closer to the muffler to try to stop the leaks. Nothing seemed to stop the leaks so I put them back on the edge of the muffler where it meets the old pipe and added the Permatex. It seemed to help the noise inside the cabin a little bit.

In theory the clamp should overlap the existing pipe and the new pipe... which I think means moving it away from the new muffler, not closer.....
