Thanks for the information.

So if you didnt have either phone at the moment and you didnt want to wait, you'd go with X correct?

I'd much rather buy one of these phones now while I can get them for $100 instead of waiting for a phone that will be slightly better and cost more money.

verizon told me that droid 2 and the x has the same guts, 2 has the slide key board, and x has a better camera. I just upgraded to the x for 99.00.

That is correct. I would go for the X. Bigger screen works wonders. I am 25 so it has nothing to do with eye sight. It just fits me better and is easier to see stuff on a 4" screen.

I have the Incredible now. The Droid x wasn't out yet. If I was to buy right now I would go with the Droid x. Has a few better features.
Plus they are the same price.

I think they both have motoblur... if so...

The droid x has a mini hdmi port on it as well, i believe... not sure if the incredible does. not sure if both have received the latest OS (2.2) either. Pretty sure the incredible has it now, not sure about the X.

Incredible is an HTC phone therefore it has HTC Sense which is 100x better than the original motoblur and notably better than the current version. Having played with the X I will say that blur is significantly toned down and very mild.

Personally, I'd root the X and throw a custom ROM on there. I do think the X is a better choice especially if someone is male and not... small.

The original motoblur is like a cross between a pile of dung, richard simmons and the worst of paris hilton.

I do love my iphone, but I hate AT&T and starting to hate Apple. So I'm in the same boat. Was thinking about the Incredible as well. Haven't checked out the X yet, but the Incredible looks like a good alternative to to the iphone.

The demo I looked at was quick and had an easy navigation control.

basically you can't go wrong with either phone. i have the original droid, my gf has the incredible. i love her phone bc its so fast. it basically comes down to size. i don't like larger phones, so i voted for the incredible. plus my droid is running android 2.2:emoticon7:

If I am correct the driod X has the new faster processor in it. When i got my droid 2 the droid X was coming out 2-3 weeks later. I hated my self for not waiting.

Now that the new OS version is out and it supports flash 10.1 you can play certain web games now. They play better on droid X as the new processor is faster.

Droid X came out before Droid 2.
