Seat Belt Holders

I just picked up a new 4th gen (firebird) and the previous owner some how managed to break both of the seat held holders (not sure if thats what they are called, im talking about the plastic squares that are attached to the headrests and the seat belts go through). Anyways, i was wondering if anyone knows where i can buy a driver and passenger replacement. I looked online and can only find a whole new seatbelt assembly. Thanks for the help

You mean the shoulder guides right? I've been looking for one myself. So far, the best resource I've been able to find has been Classic Industries, but even they don't have them in my color... Check it out tho, they might have firebird. I don't know how people go about breaking these things, but they're hard to find. Let me know if you come up with anything...

I'm afraid you are going to have to go to your local junkyard. The dealer is also going to try to sell you the entire assembly. Trust me, I've broken my fair share. The way I normally break them is from people trying to get in the back seats without pushing the front down and they bump into them with their backs.

i got mine from the junk yard. like 5 bux each. its way better to drive with those guides instead of having the seatbelt under ur armpit for comfort or something.

I broke one this summer on my 2002. Just went to the dealership and ordered a new seat belt guide. They didn't have one in stock, but I had it in two days. It was something like $20. 10 minutes of work back in the driveway and it's like new again. They can even check for your correct color by inputting your VIN number.

Not hard to find at all???????? Why would you want a used one, anyway when they are not expensive, and readily available new from GM?
