That was unexpected.

Hmm....I just don't like how yellow the current HIDs are.

I'd love a HID ~5200-5300K

Both of these are 6000K. These bulbs don't come in anything between 5000K and 6000K. Both are reputable brands.

My only concern is if it would cause any fogging within the headlight. I had fogging as a LARGE issue with the Genesis and I don't ever want to deal with that again.

Fogging happens when you don't get a good seal on the headlight. These look like they'll seal just fine. Both are pretty well known brands and of decent quality. They're not cheap Chinese knock-offs. Besides, it's not a permanent change. You could always swap back to the stock bulbs.

Fogging happened with the Genesis because it was an open system cooling that pulled outside air to cool it. Dumb. But, it was enough to make me nervous about swapping bulbs.

I've spent lots of time studying my headlights. I can now tell you if they are on or off.

Swacer. Get some bulbs in the range you want and try them out. None of us can look at a Genesis and predict what effect an aftermarket bulb will have on a Camaro. I understand not wanting to waste money but you either give it a try or you don't. Sounds like you don't like the current shade of bright so just go for it!

I know Highmark (the company itself) is always looking for them. Westinghouse looks for them also.

Um, the IRS has a building downtown.

Was it just a drop or does she have time?

I saw this in the parking lot at work today and was inspired to pull out my phone and take a picture of this. Maybe I'm off, but I find this wrong to be about as attractive as a partial birth abortion.
