Anyone know how to reduce this - front bumper gap
I've taken the bumper off to look for anything that might be preventing the bumper from going in all the way.
When I slid the bumper into place, you can hear when it gets to that point and it stops. All the bolts are tight. The right side is worse than the left... Any thoughts on how to fix this? Anyone else have this issue? Thanks ! |

My suggestion is to remove all bolts and start over by only installing the three inside the bumper. Tighten those three and then lift the nose up and down a little if you still have a gap. Then tighten again. After you have those done, then install the rest. Good luck!

You could always try loosening the front quarter panel if it bothers you that bad . And re-adjust it . This sounds like a OCD issue.

Relax for your own sake
Agreed, you're gonna die young if you obsess over things like this. What happens when you get the first rock chip?

The gap is too big, someone did not push hard enough when they pushed the front fascia in before bolting. On the new ones there has been some spacing material applied to stop them from rubbing so the paint does not chip off but that's too much. Taking the fascia on and off by a goog body shop is a 20 minute job, no biggie.
