Question Quick question about Adam's PC Pads....

Probably a stupid one, but I searched and couldn't find the answer

I just got the premium PC kit and some other goodies .... and thought would watch the DVD that came with the kit... in it I noticed they were using "Hexigonal" sp? pads, and were talking specifically about them when using the PC kit... my kit came with "egg crate" type pads... which from some of the searching I did, sounds like for the flex, you don't want to use the hex pads...

Are these the right pads for the PC?

Thanks
-B

You're good to go. They updated their pads to a more efficient design that other manufacturers use.

Give it a little tappy tap

Did you read his post? He's saying that's what the DVD showed (hexagonal ) but he received the new pads which look like egg crates .....

No need to go off half ****ed and make him look stupid when you misread it.

I had the same question when I recieved my pads. I guess the new design works better.

They should. That's more similar to what Lake country uses now too. If they're doing it, odds are it's damn good.

Personally I'm moving to microfiber pads nowadays.

YES I did.....and NO I didn't go off half ****ed and make him look stupid.....AND I didn't misread anything.

The picture he posted is what they make for the PC.

WE don't know what specific part of the video he was refering to.....as they video has EVERYTHING on it....had he been looking at the part of they video where they are using the flex.....the pads are DIFFERENT.

lol all good everyone... as I noted in the post... I noticed when they were using the flex the pads were different than when they were using the PC... hense my question. When I recieved pads that they were not using on the PC (in the video), AND since I ordered the PC kit... wasn't sure if I was supposed to get different pads...

thanks for the reply's... glad I wasn't the only one who wondered about this...

=)

Yep, same foam composition, we used to have 2 styles of pads that were each suited to the 2 different polishers. The updated videos showing the new pads are online and will start being shipped with new DVD's in a few weeks.

http://www.adamspolishes.com/t-Adams...12_UPDATE.aspx

The process stays the same... the only real change is that you can now use the same pads with both machines. Sorry for the confusion.
