The MAF is reading airflow and should compensate without a tune.

he stated in another thread that the TB and cold air together would require tune. just the TB alone though has been doen without tune.

I want pulley, cai, tb so I will have to tune.

I have the cai already so that would require a tune then. Thinking of doing the 9.1" and put some torco in

ace32x,

The 102 has had some driveability issues I believe. The 90 is OEM reliability.

We have proved time and time again with valid data that anything above 10psi the stock TB becomes a major restriction and anything above 13psi the requirement of a 102mm TB is really necessary to prevent major airflow restrictions. The 102mm TB is worth about 2psi from 3700rpm and up at the 600-650+RWHP mark translating in much higher HP and a broader power curve

We keep these in stock in BLACK or Natural

We have zero driveability issues with the cars we tune, but many adjustments need to be made for this TB. The throttle response alone is worth it

The 90 works great IF tuned for it....but it is not a plug and play.

The 87mm VMax CNC patteren ported makes a very noticable difference though and that is a direct swap.

Yep, you CAN NOT just swap the tb and go with it. It has to be tuned properly. Although many do mods and don't tune, which IMHO, is not getting your monies worth out of the parts.

weve gathered that now. going to port the snout and pick up a 102 and tune it here in the spring. running a roto fab a 9.1" pulley and torco currently, will be good enough until i can get some LT's test pipes the TB and ported snout and tune it

A CAI and TB is a pretty cheap upgrade which can be utilized with any future mods.
I am ramming Rotofab CAI and going with 5% OD pulley and no tune. I do not see how the pulley and TB will still maintain warranty, so I will be ready to reinstall OEM.

As far as I can see, only CC and CAI will not void warranty, OD the SC and then have it go bad will not fly for warranty.
