ok without trying to sound like a complete idiot......what the hell is the oil catch can for? I have done some decent mods to mine but still dont know what that is!!!!!

What do these magnetic plugs do?

they catch any metal shavings that might fall into your oil. you'll probably notice the most on a new engine.

I read through their FAQ and it sounds like this should be as important as a catch can if I understood correctly. The loose metal shavings will wear away at the moving parts of your engine and transmission and eventually cause it to fail yes?

Nah most shavings come out in the first 1,000 miles. It's more of extra piece of mind whereas the catch can is a must.
