Had no idea what M-mode was back in November of last year, only had the car 3 months... the drag would have been even worse for the Chally.

I didn't see his road course experience, unless you call blowing the cones an experience!

CAI and Cat-back might add 25hp to my 400hp to get the A6 even to the Chally at the cranks, but what gets to the wheels determines the winner!

I did use the paddle shifter on the road course, it worked great. I would hit the downshift and as soon as I braked going into the corner it shifted.

Thanks all, it was tough not to talk about it for 5 months, loads of fun.

Not an even race? You're right! The SRT8 has a base price that's $10,000 higher than an SS. The R/T is supposed to be in our class. So truthfully, Dave should have been allowed another $9,000 worth of mods to make this an 'even race'. Let's give him him headers, a Supercharger and a tune and then we'd be much closer to the 'even race' you so desperately want

Nice kill, Dave... even if the race wasn't fair for you

Now back to that Shelby GT. That's a $9500 package on top of the GT, again putting it WAY ahead of the SS in terms of cost, and still came up .2 slower - on an 1/8th mile track! That's HUGE! Watch that ep again, see how much farther ahead he was compared to the Z? That was 1 tenth. DOUBLE that distance and that's how much Dave's SS beat the Shelby! Nice.

Damn that Challenger owner couldnt drive...

But then again..dont need a SRT8 to kill a L99..you can do that in a R/T.

Good win for the Camaro driver.

The Shelby was a GT, not blown, but it did have some real sticky Hoosiers on it and was set up for the road course. I thought he could have done better.
