If you need any parts like a dash, or console or suspension stuff, etc

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=333505

They can ship to a corporate junkyard, not to your address.

Thanks for the link Joel. It will be a while before I need any of that stuff.

I should have an update posted soon. We are ready to do some welding, but I have had my welder busy doing paying jobs!

In the meantime, I updated my COPO to a 2014 last weekend.

We have finally started back on this project!

Today my good friend Jesse came over to start TIG welding up the seams on the front end.

This is a pretty tedious job, but well worth the effort.

Finished shock tower. We are not allowed any tubing ahead of the firewall. Doing this helps to stiffen the front end.

Underside.

Next week we plan to install the frame rails and rear suspension mounts.

The panhard mount is located on this drivers side guide pin.

First this piece of tubing is welded over the pin. Do not weld completely around it......

.....as the bracket is a tight fit. The bracket is at a 100 degree angle from the frame rail.

And after welding.
