I'm curious to see what some SS's are getting in the real world. Both Auto's and 6M's.

well on a pretty even 50/50 split between city and highway I am getting about 22mpg on my v6, but it only has 1k miles so hopefully that number will increase.

I heard most people with the ss are getting around 18. But I am sure it will even improve more once properly broken in more.

I want to see REAL city and HWY numbers for both versions of the SS. I hope to get a LS3 6M, but want to see the numbers for the L99 too.

I am at 450 miles, and am getting around 17, I am still breaking her in. Reving it up here and there, I think 19 is probubly where I'll end up.

With a bit over 2k miles on my 1LT/RS M6, my overall average is 21.56mpg so far (calculated, not from the onboard computer).

I'm tracking details for each fill up in post #5 of my car's journal: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31129

It seems as the though the v6 fuel economy can be fairly sensitive to your driving style. If I drive it as a Camaro should be driven, the average mpg will drop to 18'ish but drive it like a Prius and I've seen average mpgs upwards of 26-27 mpg in mixed city/hwy. Keep in mind, those numbers were from the onboard computer but were based on 50-100 miles of driving each time.

I'm getting about 300 miles to the tank in both the 4th gen and 5th gen V8 L99. I think they're both a 15 gallon tank.

Getting about 15 on my SS. But I like to get to the speed limit fast. If I just take it easy around town I get 17-18 MPG. Get about 27 on highway trips to Dothan but I rarely drive on the highway.

Is that with a LS3 or L99? That's about what I get with my LS1 T/A.

21-22MPG highway on my SS. 16-17MPG city, but I was on it pretty good. ~900miles on the odometer.
