Winshield Tint / Ceramic Tint
I took my car to a local tint shop. They reccomended something called "Pinnicle" ceramic tint.
they want $250 for 35% tint on the sides and rear. they want $150 to do 70% or 55% on the winshield. Have any of you guys ever put tint on the winshield? If so, what %? EDIT: winshield will be 80%... Its something called "Air-80"

had a 5% strip running across the top of the windshield. Helped a pretty good bit to block out the sun. was not ceramic though.

But have any of you put it on the entire winshield?
I am having 80% put on the whole winshield right now. I tried a sample last night and I could hardly tell it was there. I bet it will help with the heat.

They originally came out with a metallic tint that blocked out 99% or so of UV rays and like 60% of heat. The problem was that metallic interfere's with cell phones, radios, etc. So they went to ceramic. Same UV and heat protection, no interference. It's pretty expensive though, compared to regular tint.

I put 20% on my entire windshield. It's great in the daytime, just like wearing sunglasses, but I will not drive my car at night because it does make it more difficult to see.

I did it... ceramic 80% on the windshield, and ceramic 35% on the rest... cost me right at $400
you can hardly even tell that it’s on the windshield... but supposedly it blocks 99% UV and 43% of radiant heat. at lunchtime I will be able to tell if there is a difference.... since it is usually unbearable for the first minute or 2 when I get in the car. pics shortlly

Anxiously awaiting pics. Especially if you can get one from the drivers seat looking out of the windshield to see how much a difference the 80% tint makes. What about night visibility with the windshield tint?
