[QUOTE=GMRULZ;3521176]That same motor didn`t last long from what I`ve heard, but thats just hearsay, so Adam can confirm or not, if that motor is still running around unrebuilt.

Personally, this is a confirmation of why I believe you are biased in this debate, sounds like someone gets special deals from Kenny Bell, your personal cars are running their blowers...

1, I still have the engine here from Vegas, all the stock rods and pistons intact with the L99 cam, lifters etc. This was the first engine I bent all 8 rods at 14psi and 7k rpms. I took the engine out of the car, swapped the bent 8 rods ( re-used the OG pistons and rings) and ran that engine for the Vegas race and over 2k more miles, beating the hell out if it. The engine in the car now is a forged 6.1 block, with a c6 vette cam dod delete. Still running stock manis and cats, stk heads at 20psi went 10.11. Not bad . I know there would be a ton if I did heads and cam and headers, but that for the 419 I have sitting here.

2, I have ran a Whipple blowers on my wifes Mustang til the day we sold it, I still own 2 Turbo Mustangs, and just recently sold my 95 Mustang that was sporting a Novi 2000. I physically have a Pro Charger D1SC sitting here for another one of my Mustangs. Id say , I play with them all.

What I have found..Centris just wont hold the belt to get all they are capable of, and without big convertors and some gear, wont launch to my taste. I had our SN95 running low 10's with all the smog intact and hi 9's with long tubes and smog stuff omitted. Worked great but streetable around town only, unless you like driving at 3800-4000 on the freeway. With an OD trans Im sure it would have been better for rpms, but hey now we have more loss through the trans.

The 2.3 Whipple did great on our 2006 Mustang as a mid to low 10 sec car, and street driver, til we wanted to run in the 9's. The kit wasnt designed to do it, and even with all the mods to the inlet system, t-body,CAI etc, it just wouldnt get there with a full weight street trim car.

Turbos..what can I say. They are bitchin.. I have 2 fox bodies here, and they are fun as hell to drive, but light switches. Work insane on the strip, but unpredictable on the street.

Nitrous..been playing with this since I was 16. Awesome stuff..just get tired of carrying 3-5 bottles to the track. Plus gets expensive over time.

PD blowers are just the perfect compromise..great on the street, killer at the track. Kenne Bells, just flat out kick all the other PD guys butts .

Thanks Adam@ST

adam , only thing i can see, how most of us differ from you is the fact we are running lower octane, i am tuned for 93...is it anyhow possible that the 110 octane makes a really big difference in iats...i know g200 runs race fuel but he has logged 220 at the track with hp tuner at the end of his run, and that was 505 rwhp and only mod was headers and cat back..but , thought i would ask..

the IAT are not read in the cylinder so the fuel won't change them, only change the detonation point.

Here is the HPT scan from my most recent dyno pull. This is with my new Whipple and custom HE, the IAT peaks at 115 just after the WOT pull. Ambient temperature was about 80 degrees. Yes, I've triple checked that the IAT sensor is working correctly :-)

you read my mind, as we both know the whipple had a relocation issue...i believe the new whipples come with the correct sensor in the manifold.. some shops actually correct it by locting it in the intake..

Im looking for my 18-20lb datalogs. I will post a run up with the IATS. I did lose a computer at the track when I hit the brakes and the computer flew, locking up the hard drive. Im searching through my back up stuff right now. Thanks Adam@ST

Just to be random..heres a dyno pull of an F150 with an E-Force I did recently. The customer installed the kit per the instructions. I noticed his IATs werent chaning on the dyno runs. I asked him if he missed that step..he said no and showed me the instructions. I cant remember there being a step to relocate the IAT..
The truck will be here tomorrow, so I can re-locate the IAT in the boost stream, and re-tune for more boost.
I hate this truck, its on 40's ,with a 14in lift, and Im all of 5'5" tall. What a BI%#H to work on. Thanks Adam@ST
