visual inspection usually. If the tune is good then emissions should not be significantly worse and shouldn't fail.

Us people in CARB friendly states will have to partially remove such systems before being tested because they pop the hood and look.

I might have seen a car with this system at the track recently. Looks good!

Those of you who have this system need to speak up.

I want to buy.....but I need reassuring from guys who have installed this system.

would love to hear from someone who has put 15-25k on the supercharged system.....
would love to hear from someone with a 6 speed and a supercharger.

Never did get a response to my
"does the 6 speed need a clutch upgrade?"

I've got the A8 and have put about 9K miles of Smiles on the Overkill SC system. I have absolutely no regrets. Will is a real stand up guy to work with...very talented. Sycraft's post #106 had some really good feedback after driving my car.

Perhaps Dustya will chime in once he picks up his car.

Don't you want to be next?

Yeah that was my car... Only reason I know for sure is because I saw your car next to mine in cleetus McFarland YouTube video when he was panning around. He has the C5 vette with no body panels there was also a turbo mustang and a Supra there. But yes what you saw was part of the project Tracy was getting it out to the track so he and will could get it dialed in better.

We are currently waiting on the alky kit.

Awesome! Thanks for the share. I talked with Tracy the last couple days. Very good guy and I'm stopping over to see their shop this week. Love your car!

I had a ipf kit on a manual car.. clutch was ok but did end up upgrading. Look for my old posts. Many of the improvements in the overkill kit were looked at at the time I was working with mine. I used a twin disk ram clutch, again I had the prototype, and itvwas smooth as butter and held with no issues.

HAHA, I literally just watched that video randomly and noticed the blue gen6

Fighting the urge to do this before warranty is up / waiting to see what stage2 brings to the overkill setup before I pull the trigger. Thanks to the people who started posting their experience with it, keep the info coming. Those of us who are on the fence really appreciate it

I am being patient and letting Will and Tracy do what they need to make sure this is solid. So far they have had my car for just over 2 weeks and that is ok by me. Right now I am sure anyone can buy the kit tune it with a weekend install. But when it comes to needing more fuel things change a bit installed higher flow injectors. Will was pretty sure the stock fuel pump could handle it but looks like we are back to the ZL1 Fuel Pump. The alky kit was installed yesterday.

Hopefully what will be accomplished at the end is something people will want.

I am only relaying information I am getting from them. Once I have the car back there will be pictures and videos to be had. I will be taking the car to the track and I will be @ camarofest with it.

Normally this would be something I would tackle myself I find it alot of fun however I knew there was more they wanted to try out on these cars other then just the supercharger. I am a friendly guy if you guys have any questions feel free to ask.

I'm just learning about FA, so I have what may be a silly question; is there any reason why the base SC would not work on a convertible?
