Let's Talk Injectors, Injector Dynamics

I have been tuning EFI cars as long as there has been tuning software and Engines in general since I was a Kid, and that's a long Time Ago LOL

I came across a company called Injector Dynamics I researched the company and feel like I struck Gold after using them in several of our builds.

http://injectordynamics.com/

I have been using the ID-850 which flow around 900 cc at 58 PSI and the ID-1000 which fit the KB cars Tall injectors which also flow 1050 cc at 58 psi.

Injector dynamics provides us with critical injector data which makes tuning a Dream come true.

Never before have we had large injectors with Accurate Injector Data.

The control and atomization that these injectors have make starting and Idling problem a thing of the past with large injectors.

Driveability and Throttle response are amazing.

These injectors seem expensive at first but once you understand what your buying the price no longer seems expensive.

This is Truly an example of you get what you pay for.

Check them out, I fully Endorse these injectors.

Ted.

Good info Ted.

We use a similar Co out of Atlanta. I just went to the injector dynamics site and they really lay it out so the layman can understand it.

Tracy, I went and read all about it to. Makes you wonder why all the injector companies don't do this. Then Ted enligthened me as to what it takes to be able to. I have these in my car right now and it made a world of difference!

We have used these in our N/A drag engines for a while now. Really good stuff. Tuning with Motec M800 is very accurate.

It would blow your mind if you knew what the ID850's were.

I haven't looked at the injectors close, but I did pick up a set from Ted and I will be getting my vehicle back today (at least I hope) from getting several mods done. I will have an update on the injectors soon.

Ted - If you find out what they are please let me know. Bosch comes to mind, but I could be totally way off course.

I'm having a cam put in very soon. In order to help with the increased hp, my shop is going to take the 52# injectors that came with my TVS2300 and have them modified to make 65# injectors. They said they have great success with this method and will save me some money. Should I be rethinking this strategy and go with the ID-850 injectors instead. My car will be around 550 rwhp (L99) when the cam goes in.

If I should get the ID-850 injectors, what specs should I get? I see they have several options to chose from when ordering.

Thanks.

Not to take anything away from your shop but when you modify any injector it changes the flow dynamics of the injectors and unless someone Like Injectors Dynamics tests them and creates all the Proper injector data it will be just like tuning any of the other injectors on the market that don't come with any GM Data, just an educated guess at the data.

Once your tuner uses a set of these injectors he will never go back, I know I won't, as long as there is a choice that fits our needs.

I stock the direct replacements for your application.

Ted.

Ted:
Thanks for your thoughtful and expert advice.

Please PM me a price for the injectors you recommend for my car.

I have an L99 with Magnuson TVS2300 (500 rwhp right now). The car will be getting a cam next week and should be around 550 rwhp then.

Thanks again.
