Rotofab intake not worth it on 91 octane?
I'm assuming the intake was tested on 93 octane. Is it possible with 91 octane(here in CA) it would have detonation/knock retard without a tune?

It's 91 octane here also and that was my first mod. Works great!

It doesn't matter what octane you are using. We only have 91 available here and we still see excellent gains.

It will work just fine using 91 octane fuel here in So Cal. If you are really concerned the 76 station on Glenarm street and Arroyo Parkway in Pasadena where you are has 100 octane. Hold on to your wallet if you use a few gallons.
