Yes, car ran as a ZL1 body car and then everything went down to the frame to a Z/28.R with the backing of GM to run next series since the Z/28 came out. My curiosity was because there were something like 6 2014 Z28’s that didn’t make it out and were destroyed. I don’t have details as I’m sure a few on forum have more details. But I thought yours might have been 1 of these that GM used and someone mistaken it for an original ZL1 body but was actually 1 of these VIN’s. That’d been a great story.

I am not sure on that. All I know is Pratt Miller and Blackdog both got new body in white bodies from General Motors and were commissioned to build the race cars in the amount over $200k each for the series. General Motors do not even build the GT4.R or C8 race cars...those are sourced out to Pratt Miller.
