Will 2010 SS Wheels fit 2012 LS Model - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

A couple of dumb questions.

1. Will the wheels off of a 2010 SS fit on the 2012 LS. I am looking to upgrade from the 18 inch stock rims, and found a good deal on some 2010 SS 20 Inch Rims?

2. If so, do I need to have anything reprogrammed on the car, in order to for the TPMS to work properly.

If this has been asked, sorry could not find it in the search feature.

1. Yes

2. Yes...maybe!!! If you are buying the 2010 wheels complete with TPMS sensors and are not going to use the original TPMS sensors that are in your current 18 wheels, then yes, you will have to have the new sensors re-sync'd to the ECM. On the 2010's, there is a procedure for this in the manual, but I think on the newer cars you are supposed to take it to the dealer. If you are going to re-use the sensors from your 18" wheels (and you make sure they go back to their original locations), you should not have to reprogram anything.
