If you're looking at buying a cheap daily, my pick would change.
For a true daily that is fun, We would agree with this lineup as well. We ahve our RS on order, and our 6th Gen just arrived at the dealer this week, so we will have both for development purposes.

But, a stick, AWD, turbo car in Michigan winters is a ton of fun! Plus, the EcoBoost responds so well to calibration changes and mods it's insane. We've already made well over 500RWHP with a 2.3L EcoBoost, and have plans for even more.

If it wasn't for the goofy styling of the focus. That would be my pick of the bunch mentioned for that climate. GT-R is just a different class of car.

I wouldn't even consider the 370. GTR or the C7.

Just wander why no one has mention any Subaru as a all year car , AWD that as proven to be reliable and depending on the model it can also be a hog on the slippery northern winter roadways

RS. That car is going to be a monster and Ford generally underrates their motors from the factory
