Nitrous 1LE vs cammed C6 Z06

Who do you think would win, my nitrous 1LE with 608 rwhp and 715 rwtq or a bolt on and cammed c6 Z06 from a 45-130 roll race?

Crazy how you gained only 110 whp but gained 270wtq from a 150 shot. Is your cam spec'd for nitrous

If it is anything like my experience you should eat that Z06 up. I raced one during FL2k. I spun from a 40 and he got 2 cars ahead. Once I regained grip and got back on the spray I walked right around the Z06 and put a few cars on him no prob. Our hp/tq numbers are pretty different though. With your gearing I'd recommend a 40 or 60 - 150 race. I guess it'll be close but you by 3 cars

EDIT

Didn't realize your race is vs a C6Z...mine was C7Z. In this case I give you bus lengths against that C6Z. If you said cammed bolt on C6ZR1 it may be a slightly different story to think of as competition.

Yeah it wasn't even a race, as soon as he honked for the 3rd time I automatically put 3-4 cars on him and continued to pull on him the rest of the race.

The video is on my Youtube channel.

I had my cam spec'd before I even thought about nitrous. It makes really good power on motor alone. I was thinking I'd make around 625 rwhp , but I'm happy at what it's at. The torque is crazy.

A proper set up and driven cammed c6 zo6 can easily trap north of 132. I dont think you on the spray would be close to that, just my opinion from experience. A good and or bad driver in most races will easily change the outcome though.

At max with what OP setup is now and with a well driven run would probably be 126ish in the 1/4. No where near the same as what a bolt on cammed c6z could do. On the track OP wouldn't stand a chance. On the street from a roll though, completely different story until probably 170ish where aero benefits the c6z instead and the Camaro gets stuck from drag.

This is why I have all intent on trading mine for a C6 in the next couple months here. Same mods and power I have now on my LS3 would be ridiculous in a Vette.

Yes the track is much different then the street that's why I posted trap speeds and not e.t., mph is king on the street from a roll. On a roll race with both drivers being equal the vette would win easily. Almost all stories or vids I see online the winner just beat a person that had no clue at all, yes a win is a win but I'd rather beat someone that knew what they were doing with their car then take an easy win, just my opinion.

Completely agree, winning against someone who you consider equal in your personal driving skill level is much more satisfying.

How much hp is a cammed bolt on C6Z 540ish? Equal drivers and everything perfect for the setup of the race and the C6Z "should've" been able to hang in there and eventually slowly walk by on the top end. Win is a win though

The funny thing is, that he wanted to race me, and race me for money. The 1st race he missed a gear, so we ran it back again for more money and won again.
