Jaguar F-type vs Gen 5 Camaro SS

Been looking at this new Jag lately, beautiful car seems to have the 5.0 engine of our rival in supercharged form and goes fast is heck. Any one challenging these on track? How did it go?

They are nice cars. I raced an old guy in one on the track. I was surprised how quick it was. It wasn't that close of a race, but my car is also not stock. I would interested to see stock vs. stock. Either way, the F-type was quick.

2016 F-Type R AWD with 550hp and 500 fllb is no joke. It weighs around 3850-3900lbs. Did a highway pull 50-120mph and managed to stay side by side with it and around 120 it started pulling ahead. . After the pull we slowed down to chat... really cool guy who also ows a C7 Z06 lol

I have both a 2015 F-Type R and a 2011 Camaro SS, and unfortunately our stock SS has no chance against the F-Type R. My jaguar has 620 horsepower as opposed to the stock 550, which makes a huge difference. The Camaro isn't stock either but the R is really a supercar. The Camaro definitely could take the base model and V6 S but I'm not sure about any of the other f-types. they're fast..

Bare in mind, those are flywheel numbers, not rear.

I should've specified. It makes 620 flywheel horsepowe, and that's because it's been tuned and has an aftermarket pulley from ecu tuning group. Stock, it's 550

The F-Type doesn't have a Coyote with a blower. It is a 5.0 V8, but it Jaguar's own engine.
