Welcome to the Pac. NW......

Thought I would do a little research on the tail of a recent post from a Tacoma dealer. I live here in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. (Salem) Within a 30 min drive I found 4 Camaros.

1-2SS with a RS package $42,510
1-LT $32,945
2-LT 1@$34,460 1@$29,030
Nice Markups!!!!!!!

I am Lucky enough to have a Brother In law working for GM (Performance Division) I have found only 1 dealer recently that will even touch GM employee pricing. Originally they wanted a $5000 dep due to the fact I was going to order IO interior........I didnt know Orange cows were that expensive! They decided to be nice and only require $1000. I have decided to wait until Fall when Hopefully these dealers remove their heads from a very dark place and see these vehicles stack up on the lot. Then I will walk in and choose a dealer that will perform the best "oral" service to my checkbook! Welcome to the Pacific North West!

Good Luck with that.
Out of 15,334 built 119 have been shipped to Oregon. I'm #4 at my dealer and he has only receved 2 so far. I had to place 3k down and my status since 5/6/09 is 1100.

Are you looking to order a V6 or V8?
I may be able to help you find a dealer willing to honor the Friends & Family discount.

If you do, give me a heads up too (Auto V8, 2SS, RS, IOM, Polished 20's). I've called 30 dealers in the NW, and all of them act like there is no such program in existence....

There's a good number of awesome dealers on the boards who do (Shout out to CamaroScotty, whoot!) But their allocations are tied up until Xmas.

Which tac dealer? There are a ton... markups are ranging 500 - 5000 up here.

Where is there a 500 mark up dealer in Seattle? Smallest markup I've seen here is 3k.

Thanks for the IM btw Ironhead. I called those guys and they're marking that IOM you sat in 5k. But... The guy said he'd order me one for MSRP. Im a bit leery since he was so nonchalant about it. "Ohhhh yeah sure, I'll work one up for you for MSRP..."

That's exactly what Maggie in Colton, OR ordered from Wilsonville Chevrolet. She took delivery in early May. You might try them and see if they'll order one for you at MSRP.

She runs an Upholstery shop out there. I have seen the car! Its stunning! There may be some drool left on it from me! The Wilsonville boys are good. Very willing to sell at MSRP. They know come fall if the Inventory is high. They wont pay the price for a ridiculous Mark up now! I have alot of respect for them. But........they wont do GM Employee pricing yet. Dave Smith out of Idaho wont even talk about ordering one.

Contact Friendly Chevrolet In Puyallup & if they give you the run around ask to speak to the owner of the place (rick Anderson) & tell him you know a few of the PNWCC (pacific Northwest Camaro club) members & they shipped you to his dealership

he told everyone at the friendly show (Chris you were there) that if they order the car via his dealership they get MSRP (they also will do the miltiary discounts) if they wait until an unsold car comes to the lot then its 3500.
