Best ZL1 Mats
Looking to replace OEM mats, would also like full set including trunk mat.
There was a thread here that had some information but Search not cooperating or short between keyboard and chair. I have found the Lloyd's mats but limited options - I'd like red edging instead of black to add some color. Also logo seems small. I also found these - little more expensive and not sure of quality: http://www.high-end-motorsports.com/...FS8OOgodLyEAOw What are you guys using? It looks like these guys have the Lloyds Ultimat configurator where I can get the red edge: http://camarocollection.com/accessor...-ultimats.html Last edited by Highland Ranger; 05-13-2014 at 10:55 AM. |

I got the ZL1 logo GM mats and the Camaro trunk mat (no ZL1 factory mat back there) as an LPO for mine. They seem pretty high quality.

I have the GM accessory mats for the ZL1. I had plastic stitched to them prior to installing them in my interior.
Since the driver's footwell gets a lot of wear with the clutch pedal, I am still using my oem mat when I drive. If I'm at a show then I'll put in the driver's ZL1 mat to complete the look.

I used to be all anal about my mats (among other car related things) and put Weather Tech rubber mats over he cloth ones. Then I realized I was putting all this effort into FLOORMATS.
So what did I do? I bought another set of mats to put down when I need the car to look pristine (car show). Otherwise, I just enjoy my ZL1 embroidered mats and realize they are only $150. That's not to say that I carry mud or dog poop into my car, but I feel more relaxed than when I was so anal about them.

I sure like the GM Premium mats I ordered. They are very nice and I think a better fit then the Loyds I has previously in my Cobalt.

That is not really fair in comparison is it? Two different vehicles. Now if you had said the set you had in your ZL1 it would have more validity. My only complaint about the "premium mats" was they didn't last that long and aren't as plush as the Lloyds mats. I have no affiliation with Lloyds, just like their mats. I have used them in different vehicles since 1990. |
