License plate frame hole repair? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

SO when I ordered my car I asked the dealer to not install the front plate bracket. When I received the call that it had arrived, I asked them to run out tot he car and put a note on the bumper if they had to make sure no one installed the frame. "We will take care of it". So I get a phone call from the dealer the day I am to pick it up. "Someone came in early today to prep the car and mounted your front bracket." Anyway he offered to pay for it and put it on my paper work etc... I finally got an estimate today (4 months later) to have the repair done. $900! Does that seem high? They have labor to remove the bumper cover, patch the holes and blend paint then re clear the cover then reinstall. at $72 a hour. What do you guys think?

thats expensive for some holes seriously there has got to be a cheaper way which i am interested in finding out as well

I am too.... my car was dealer traded from new york and the front plate was already installed.... :(
