both will require a fuel system upgrade. anytime you introduce more air in that volume into the motor, you will need to add more fuel. lots of times the turbo/supercharger kit come with them

supercharger will give you instant power off the line
turbo will likely require you to spool up and maybe invest in a 2-step

both make ridiculous power and i wish i had either.

These are just basics. You have to decide what you want the car to do and how you will be using it in order to decide whats best for you. Hope this helps
This is nice, and yes im aware of couple things you mentioned here ! Thanks for the advice !

Almost 5k ! Im going to take it to the mechanic that did all the mods already for my car.

Last year one of my lifter fail, so i took it to one guy that 5th gen was he's thing. So i told me if i want to do some performance changes to the car that the time was the right one because he need to open the motor.

So i did changed the cam, lifter and convert the motor from a l99 to a ls3. Also he put some long header tube.

I used to have intake and a custom exhaust also in my car. !

The best advice is find people who have a top mount blower, a centrifugal, and turbo set ups. Take a ride in their cars. Become their friend. Maybe they'd let you drive theirs?

Don't compare a 1000hp car to a 500hp car. Try and compare apples to apples power wise.

Do you have a power or ET goal?

I have owned a 1000hp centrifugal setup and a 1000hp twin turbo set up. I prefer turbos. They make a lot more torque.

If you are going to keep that camshaft...go with a supercharger.

If you're going to change the camshaft go with AGP twins.

It'll buy an LSA setup or at least most of it. But, HP is addictive, and everyone wants more.

To be honest 5k is nothing like they said maybe a lsa blower but even there prices have gone up and 5k may not even cover the blower and installation, with a good complete kit (not lsa) and self installation i would say the minimum is around 7k, this may or may not include injectors and fuel pump just depends what company and kit you go with

like others have said, you keep that cam go centri blower. If i were you i'd go ECS. If you were to switch cam out, Huron Twin T4 Kit is what i would order for sure. John over at Huron is great to work with for technical hands on guys, and parts are good.

You go twins and you wont be second guessing anything in the future, once you go turbo its hard to look back, for me anyways. Turbo camaro's are rare in comparison to blower cars, my car looks stock but gets quite the attention on my sunday funday cruise due to sound.

This was true in the 80's and 90's.

Todays OEM's have learned from the dreaded journalists' catch phrase, "turbo lag".

You could have instant boost right off idle if you wanted to .

Ditto with PD superchargers, vs Centri blowers.

The latter build their boost as the rev's go up, and they shine up at the top HP+.

PD blowers will literally rock your boat at stand still+, but wane away at the top.

Turbo's offer more torque across the entire rev range over both PD and Centri.

Throttle response(something that most members on here seem to forget to discuss), and is what in fact, what more often than not, makes a street car feel the most pleasurable and fun to drive.....and this award, for Throttle Response, goes to Normally Aspirated, with PD in second place.
