1LE PDR install?

Hey everyone, so I’m looking at getting a 2SS/1LE but the one I’ve found doesn’t have a PDR. Does anyone know if the OEM PDR and software can be installed after I buy it?

Ofer was working on this at one time but the project seems to have stalled for whatever reason. I'm sure from other projects currently.

So at the moment, I'd have to say no unless there's another home-brew version of this I'm not aware of.

No, it is not possible to add the OEM PDR afterwards. While you can get the hardware, you cant get the BCM reprogrammed thru the dealer to make it all work.

Link? It's not on his website and the thread on this forum is all crickets after he said he's making an aftermarket camera mount instead of using the PDR windshield+camera.

Its not stalled, but at the price for OEM parts its more IMO then any one will spend, so we are looking for parts, so you know cost on the camera only is $925 MSRP, and thats only one of many parts.

If you don't get the PDR there are other camera's with apps that provide performance overlays. However they will not be tapping into your car's data. If you truly want a seamless PDR option, you need to buy a car with one. This was one of my must haves.

The torque app with Bluetooth adapter taps into the cars data.

Ah. Dang. Yea that is a bit pricey and it would only go up. :/

I hadn't seen an update on it in a while so I just assumed that. But hey, you know what they say about assuming.

I'm sure a few people would buy it, but it definitely looks like it would end up being out of a lot of people's price range.
